Sperry Top-Sider makes cool shoes OTHER than their famous beige boat-shoe. This black patent version kicks the style factor up while remaining rather well-priced ($95). A good alternative to the Visvim patent sneakers that I've been drooling over.

Loving industrial-chic jewelry designer Ligia Dias... she uses unusual materials (washers, rope) but to very elegant effect. She recently collaborated with Phillip Lim on his SS08 collection jewelry (which was rad).
